Crescent rolls stuffed with rotisserie chicken, broccoli and cheddar cheese, cooked, then smothered within a cheesy sauce….and baked again.

Absolutely delicious.

This recipe was a huge hit and one that’ll be made again, the whole family loved it. I’ll be using my leftover turkey from Thanksgiving and causeing this to be yummy dish…I can’t wait!

Cheesy Chicken Crescent Bake

1 rotisserie chicken, meat removed a trim to bite size pieces

8 count of huge (immense size – Big & Flaky) crescent rolls

2 mugs shredded cheddar cheese, divided in two

1 bag frozen broccoli steamers, prepared and chopped into bite size pieces

sodium & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375 levels F. Spray a 9×13 cooking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, broccoli and 1 cup cheddar cheese. Individual crescent rolls – one at a time, place a crescent on flat work surface and add a large heaping scoop of poultry mix and roll-up, sealing (pinch) any openings. Repeat with the remaining rolls. There will be leftover chicken – set aside, it’ll be added later on. Place rolls in cooking dish and bake for 10 minutes. See photos below.

While crescents are baking for 10 minutes, in a medium size sauce pan heat soup, milk, sour cream and 1 glass cheddar over moderate high temperature, stirring until parmesan cheese has melted. Keep warm on low.

After ten minutes of baking, remove crescents from oven, chimney cake exeter pour staying chicken mixture around rolls, cover with sauce and bake an additional 20 minutes. Remove and serve warm. Enjoy.

Serve with a aspect salad. Also great with wild rice.

This looks delicious! Have you got a guess concerning how much poultry you get from one rotisserie chicken?…either in mugs or ounces. I have some shredded poultry I produced and froze from the cup. It would also be beneficial to understand an approximate amount for using leftover Thanksgiving turkey…great idea, incidentally. 🙂

I made these yesterday evening plus they were very easy and absolutely mouth watering. They didn’t get soggy also after baking them with the mozzarella cheese sauce. This is a keeper.

While I like broccoli hubby does NOT do broccoli or cauliflower. Wonder what else my work in there??

This is wonderful! The whole family treasured it! I cooked chicken breasts within the croc pot (because that’s what i acquired readily available) and added some Zhenders Chicken Seasoning to the sauce (rather than salt). Place them together yesterday and cooked today. Will certainly make these again, thanks for writing!

My husband pitched one deal of regular crescent rolls therefore i improvised with Bisquick for just two of the pouches. I combined the smaller types like someone mentioned previously. We’ll observe how they come out. I’d like dibs on the crescent!

We made today and was mouth watering. The crescent rolls had been just a little doughy. I cooked them about 25 minutes looking to get them to make through before adding sauce.

You could utilize corn or chopped green beans aswell.

I’m going to try out this tonight for supper. As it is usually early spring, I’m going to sub the broccoli with fresh asparagus that is just starting to show up in stores at an inexpensive price. I think a few chopped up refreshing mushrooms may tie it all jointly as well!
