Mocha Banana Protein Smoothie Bowl with all the toppings your heart desires

This past weekend Sarah of Broma Bakery found stay with me in Chicago and we treated ourselves to something sweet each day. It was a bit unusual if you ask me but life is focused on stability, well-being and feasting on happy moments; sometimes these special occasions call for frozen yogurt , doughnuts AND chocolate chip pancakes Ha!

We’d the very best time together and I cannot wait to talk about more photos in our cooking as well as our Chicago activities! In the meantime, I’m getting back again to eating all the veggies and indulging in healthier treats (instead of doughnuts).

Anyone that knows me well can attest to the actual fact which i am an enormous advocate of a treat during the day or even before bed. In fact, Tony always provides me this absurd look anytime I require frozen yogurt or a bedtime snack because it’s an absolute must have in my globe. Even a little treat like a spoonful of almond butter having a sprinkle of sea salt can generally give me the greatest satisfaction.

It should be noted which i also tend to eat lighter meals so for a dynamic person like me, it’s just natural to crave something around 9 or 10PM.

MUST HAVE SNACKS.

And of course, there are times when a spoonful of nut butter and a banana simply does not slice it. Or when I’m craving something lovely and creamy like frozen yogurt, but I don’t feel just like leaving the house just to get to obtain it (okay, but occasionally I perform… ha).

Lately I am doing my own healthy version of fro yo at home. It’s extremely easy and basically just involves providing a creamy dense protein smoothie inside a dish, covering it together with your preferred toppings and eating it with a spoon! I understand, super fancy stuff right here but you know you LUVS it. It makes breakfast feel just like a real deal with.

You’d really be surprised at how thick and creamy these smoothie bowls could possibly get, especially with a scoop of protein powder within the mix. Best of all, you can make these with your personal favorite protein natural powder and mix and match the type of fruit switches into the smoothie. Lately I’ve been right into a chocolates banana proteins smoothie dish because chocolate makes me feel like I’ve indulged a bit. I take advantage of a delicious chocolate protein powder and Chocolate Almond Breeze almond milk. Other favorite smoothie bowls consist of strawberry banana, blueberry vanilla, raspberry peach… in fact there are way too many to name.

I often enjoy these for breakfast time hence so why you visit a instant coffee packet within the picture over. Mocha smoothie bowls FTW! There are endless possibilities here therefore if your a iced yogurt and/or sweet teeth fanatic like me, I’m sure you’ll find this easy base recipe to come in handy.
