My day starts off by waking up at 5:30am. I utilized to dread the first mornings but these days I find myself rather enjoying peeling the addresses off, sleepily grinding coffee beans and creating a pot, feeding the cat and heading out the entranceway for my workout.

The schedule keeps me motivated and encourages me to go to bed in a decent hour (most of the time anyway). I’ve also discovered that I like getting the rest of my day free to function without the expectation of exercising later. Occasionally I really do sleep in until around 7am, but it’s getting more rare.

After I get home from my workouts, I crave my breakfast so it’s a lot easier to have it prepped after that to create it. I’m not really lying down when I state I start thinking about breakfast before I go to bed. It’s my favorite meal of your day and I love switching it up with eggs, smoothies and undoubtedly, my beloved oatmeal.

Because Fall is slowly needs to creep onto our calendars, I wanted to bring you my first pumpkin recipe of the growing season in partnership with my close friends at Better Oats ! I hope it’s not prematurily . to shove all pumpkin-related points in your face, but if you’re any thing like me, then you know it’s never prematurily . for pumpkin.

These pumpkin overnight oats were within the fridge looking forward to me to devour after I got house from a sweaty, ass-kicking workout including too many package jumps and squats for my liking. As soon as I acquired in the entranceway I whipped open the fridge, topped the pumpkin overnight oats with toasted pecans, gave it an excellent stir, and dug in! Whoa, this likes as being a cut of heavenly creamy pumpkin pie. For breakfast!

Whoooo hooo!

A little concerning this recipe:

Organic Better Oats : I used Organic TRADITIONAL Better Oats within this recipe. They also make oatmeal packets, which make it convenient to take on the proceed. I used to consume them all the time in university and they’ve been a staple in my own cupboard for any longgggg time. I’m confident their steel-cut oats would also work, but just result in a chewier, less thick texture.

Greek yogurt: I used organic basic greek yogurt for just a little increase of protein and to keep the oats creamy. If you treasured this article and you also would like to collect more info pertaining to how long to bake stuffed zucchini boats generously visit our web-page. Believe me, the yogurt is necessary. If you’re dairy products free, try using a coconut or almond dairy yogurt.

Chia seed products: These help firm up the creaminess and keep the mixture thick. If you are not really into chia seed products, you could attempt flaxseed meal (ground up flaxseeds).

Pumpkin puree: Please don’t make use of pumpkin pie combine! Opt for genuine pumpkin right here. I buy canned pumpkin due to its convenience

Optional add-ins: dried cranberries, coconut flakes, pecans, almond or peanut butter, a teaspoon of chocolate chips, just a little whipped cream on top! Produce it

One very last thing! If you are into food prep like me, here is a suggestion: Make several jars on Sunday night and maintain them covered in the fridge for up to weekly. Nosh in it when you don’t have any moment to cook within the mornings, consider them to operate to enjoy or just consume them for dessert (and best with just a little whip!).

Either way, you’re going to love these healthy pumpkin right away oats! If you make them or any other recipe from AK be sure to label #ambitiouskitchen on Instagram so I can easily see your photo! xo.

HI There,

We love pumpkin and LOVE overnight oats! Tried this formula yesterday evening and found it to be lacking just a little sweetness. We don’t wish to add an excessive amount of more maple syrup or any artificial sweetners…therefore we were questioning if anyone acquired any suggestions for fruit we could add to provide some more sweetness towards the recipe.
