Sometimes I add the following: almond or peanut butter, blueberries, mango, ginger, or lemon.

You typically don’t taste the Kale (or you should use spinach!) as the sweetness in the fruit cuts it out. So actually, if you do not have tried Kale before, now is the perfect period.

There are really endless possibilities. If you wish to add more proteins, feel free to put in a scoop of your favorite vegan or soy proteins powder. Or even adding a 1/2 cup of almond or soy yogurt would be great.

Ingredients

1 large frozen banana, damaged into pieces

1 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (or alternate milk)

1 1/2 cups kale, loosely packed, stems eliminated (you can also use spinach)

Large couple of spinach

Instructions

Add the almond milk to a high-power blender and toss the banana pieces and kale in. Mix on high. Add the strawberries and cucumber. Mix again until easy. Add in even more almond milk and/or snow for desired regularity.

i didn’t have any almond milk on hand therefore i used coconut milk. it made the smoothie actually thick rather than as dark in color as yours. i may try again with water, no dairy.
